The highly accomplished team of professionals contributes over 25 years of successful experience in maintaining excellence of design and execution for a growing list of domestic and international clients. Each member brings a variety of skills and comprehensive knowledge to the design process. A small, energetic, hands-on-group, which conducts a service-oriented practice responsive and committed to excellence, Ofner Design Associates offers a proven track record to clients who are similarly committed. ODA continues to receive wide recognition for the superiority of its design work and art consultation, with an emphasis on lighting the art properly. Perhaps the greatest measure of its success is the large number of projects which it has done for repeat clients.
A native of Dallas, Diane Peek Ofner studied at the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a bachelor of Science degree in interior design with a minor in architecture and psychology.
Diane’s professional career began in Houston, Texas, in 1971 as head of the Interior Design Division for Koetter, Tharp & Cowell, a 50-person architecture firm, where she was responsible for a body of interior design commissions of major importance. She also worked with Joint Venture III KTC, CRS & 3D International for five years. Having practiced eight years in London as well as seven years in Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei, Diane returned to Houston in 1992, and continues to serve clients nationally and internationally.
As founding principal and CEO of Ofner Design Associates, L.L.C., Diane has completed a variety of projects throughout the United States as well as abroad, including corporate headquarters, restaurants historic renovation, retail space, theaters, hotels, banks, residential design, a hospital, and a Boeing 757 private aircraft.
